About us

PRGPS:

Decentralization in urban governance has proven to be one important factor for enhancing the quality of urban life. Local authorities in many MENA countries suffer from a lack of finances and resources, as well as from having less control over decision-making, which often occurs at the national level through a centralized structure.

So our project focuses on:

• Networking between higher education institutions.
• Opening the channels of discussion and exchanging experience.
• Showing participation tool for achieving goals in shaping the city.

Berlin Workshop

On Sunday 3th September, the workshop started with this cultural tour in Berlin, visiting the main sightseeing tour and going through the urban planning changes of the city over history.

Tunis Workshop

23 Sep, 2023

On September 23, 2023, we kicked off the day with a visit to the enchanting Belvedere Park. We then embarked on a captivating walk through the historic colonial city.

Jordan Workshop

16 Feb, 2024

The international workshop will take place in cooperation with Balqaa governorate with participants representing stakeholders from Tunisia, Egypt, Iraq, Lebanon and Sudan.
